Why choose Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center over the National Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C.?

Since we live in the D.C. suburbs, we don’t honestly go into the city that often. I know, it’s so close by, but it feels like a big trip going into the city with kids. We like going to the National Air and Space Museum in Chantilly, VA since it is easier to get to for us and just as much fun for the kids. I’ve also listed some things you can do in the area if you are making the trip out here!

  • It’s close to Dulles Airport if you are traveling.
  • It tends to be quieter than the museum in D.C.
