How to make Vietnamese Egg Coffee ( Ca Phe Trung)

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp Ground Vietnamese Coffee Beans
  • 1 tbsp Condensed Milk
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 eggs

Equipment

  • Kettle
  • Electric Whisk
  • Mixing bowl
  • Cup
  • Measuring Cups

Method
 

  1. Begin by whisking 2 egg yolks on high with electric whisk in a small bowl.
  2. Add 1 tbsp condensed milk.
  3. Add 1 tbsp sugar.
  4. Continue to whisk on high until egg yolks become pale frothy yellow.
  5. Brew your 2 tbsp of Vietnamese coffee using a phin filter in a cup.
  6. Add ice to the brewed cup of coffee. Top with egg yolk mixture. Enjoy!
