How to Make Tik Tok Viral Pancake Cereal Trend

Equipment

  • Pan
  • Squeeze Bottle or Ziplock Bag

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, add flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix until combined.
  • Beat eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract together.
  • Create a well in the large bowl with the dry ingredients, add the wet ingredients into the center. Mix until blended. Do not overmix. Allow batter to rest for 5 minutes.
  • Preheat skillet on medium high heat.
  • Place batter into a small ziplock bag. Fill ziplock with a cup of the batter. Cut a tiny hole in the corner tip of the ziplock bag. Or place batter in a squeeze bottle.
  • Make small circles in a row to create mini pancakes. Fill the skillet with mini pancakes batter.
  • Lower heat and cook pancakes until they are risen with little bubbles all over the surface. When you see the bubbles form and the edges are crisp on the pancakes, you can flip them over.
  • Add maple syrup, butter, or any other desired toppings. Enjoy!

Notes

Keep ingredients at room temperature or warm up milk before adding it into the mixture.
Do not overmix the batter. There should still be some lumps in the batter, but mix it to where all the liquid ingredients are combined with the dry ingredients.
Make sure the hole cut into the ziplock bag is very small to allow for better control when creating your mini pancakes or pancake designs.
