Dalgona Coffee

Easy, whipped coffee recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp Instant coffee
  • 1.5 tbsp Sugar *see note below*
  • 2 tbsp Hot water
  • 1 cup Milk
  • Ice
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon optional

Equipment

  • Electric Mixer
  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Add instant coffee, sugar and hot water into a mixing bowl
  2. Mix with an electric hand mixer until coffee turns a golden brown with stiff peaks, approximately 5 minutes
  3. Fill the cup halfway with your choice of milk, add ice
  4. Place whipped coffee on top of milk
  5. Sprinkle cinnamon [optional] or add desired toppings on top and enjoy!

Notes

This recipe basically uses 1:1 ratio on all the ingredients, double the recipe to make two servings. 
Depending on personal preferences, decrease sugar down to 1-1.5 tbsp if you prefer less sweet coffee or try a darker roast coffee. The original recipe calls for 2 tbs of sugar. Use more sugar if you prefer a sweeter coffee.
